We meticulously maintain our mother starting by only feeding it the finest USA organic wheat flour and filtered spring water. Once our started is at it peak activation we then gently dehydrate it at a low temperature to maintain its full life-force and beneficial properties. After fully dehydrated we then vacuumed pack our shelf stable starter in 15g pouches to maintain optimal freshness.

Before dehydration, each leaf weighs a little over 2 pounds. Each large loaf is approximately 10″x9″x0.5″ inches in size.
